its sucks how i feel terrible for drinking somebody else's beer. when i collectively contribute everything and anything i have to everyone in this house. For example, i've bought the past few bags of rice and never hesitated to share that shit. I mean seriously, there's six asian dudes living in this house. I buy and cook the rice, while they eat it. i dont have a alot money but i've never been reluctant to share anything with ANYONE!
What im really trying to get at and what saddens me most about this whole thing, is that we as people place more value on our things than the well-being of others. I maybe taking this out of proportion but its not this particular situation alone that makes me feel this way. Think about how our society is right now. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. The separation between the two classes are becoming more distinguished as time goes on. And this monetary system we live in, only seperates us and places our main concerns toward profit and the collection of money. Whether or not we need to step on peoples feet to acheive our dreams.
We forget that we humans are one as people and not separate. Unity is what we need and coming together as people will benefit ourselves more than trying to be competitive in this capitalist world. We will gain and progress much faster in technological and medical advances. As well, as spreading affulence to even the poorest of people.
So, its not only the guilt of drinking the beer that makes me feel terrible, but the possibility that even my closest friends are leaning toward the trend of society today.
